AJA Woods – The Cultural Marxism Conspiracy (21 May)

A.J.A. Woods joins us to discuss their new Verso book examining the history and political uses of “Cultural Marxism” — one of the contemporary right’s most pervasive conspiracy theories. Drawing on archival research, their presentation traces how the Frankfurt School came to be recast as the hidden authors of civilisational decline, and shows what this fantasy reveals about right-wing politics in the US, the UK, and Brazil.
