Reading Group: Andrea Dworkin’s Right-Wing Women (15 May)

We will be holding a reading group discussing Andrea Dworkin’s book Right-Wing Women in light of its recent reissue. Led by the global historian of feminism Rosa Campbell (KCL), we’ll explore what the book still offers for thinking about contemporary right-wing femininity, including the “trad wife”, and where its analysis is no longer persuasive. The aim is to take the book seriously as a provocative and important intervention while remaining attentive to its shortcomings.
Please read as much of the book as you can ahead of the meeting, which will take place on the morning of Friday 15th May at 11am in the Chrystal Macmillan Building room 3.15.
