Ruth Kinna – Anarchist Constitutionalising (11th November)
Typically, anarchy is considered the opposite of a constitutional order. But the reality is more complex. This talk reveals that anarchists constitutionalise: they develop declarations, rules, institutions, and democratic decision-making procedures to transform in the world in which they act. It also shows how anarchists theorise war to address the inequalities and mistrust that justify the resort to violence in conventional constitutionalism.
