Special Undergraduate Workshop: Anticolonial Political Thought – Friday 3 May 2024, 10am
Special Undergraduate Workshop – Anticolonial Political Thought: Indigenous Political Thought
CRITIQUE co-director Jared Holley chairs an undergraduate workshop that introduces students to some important texts and figures in contemporary indigenous political thought, principally from what is now called Canada. This is a special session of Dr Holley’s Honours seminar on Anticolonial Political Thought, staging a dialogue between global intellectual history and political theory to provide students with the tools to critically assess the engagement—and lack thereof—with anticolonial thinking in both disciplines.
Please join us Friday 3 May 10.30am-1.00pm in the Practice Suite (1.12 Chrystal Macmillan Building).
Tea, coffee and lunch provided – please let us know about any dietary requirements you have when reserving your ticket.
The seminar is open to all undergraduate students. It is pre-read and requires registration – please sign up and access readings HERE.
